Childcare Childcare Worker

We are looking for candidates who have worked as direct support professionals, paraprofessionals, teachers assistants or candidates with child care experience in general (not including private care babysitting) who have two or more years experience working with people with disabilities or children. Childcare workers are to encourage the healthy growth of the children at the facility located in mid-town Manhattan. You will watch over a child in a one to one setting or a small group setting (3-6) in what is referred to as a "POD" room with another childcare worker.

Requirements to be interviewed:
Passionate about the welfare of Children
An up-to date resume reflecting two years or more experience working as the above mentioned.
Fingerprinted (you will need to pay $102 for fingerprints)
Have your CPR certificate, if you do not have one or it is expired, you can go to nationalcprfoundation.com to obtain a new one (Roughly $13)
A vaccine card with at least one dose or two doses (booster not required)
Must have High School Diploma / Equivalent (GED) or highest achieved.

10 Panel Drug Test
Physical: PPD, Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella
SCR Form (Background check) and Fingerprinting (will be scheduled)
PAY & SHIFT INFORMATION
****THIS IS A RELIEF POSITION, you cannot leave your shift until someone is able to relieve you of your child, you will be paid overtime for any time you stay after your shift ends after accruing 40 hours of work***
New Employees: $16.00 per hour for the first 90 days.
*Covid Rates until further notice*
After 90 days:
Day 6:00am-2:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm $19.25/hour
WEEKEND - All weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) - $20.50/hour
NIGHT - 12:00 am - 8:00 am - $19.50/hour (weekdays)
EVENING - 4:00 pm - 12:00 am - $19.75/hour (weekdays)
Incentive Plan: After every 13-week assignment we will award an incentive bonus of $300 depending on attendance and evaluations.
Tuesday through Saturday (Sunday/Monday off)
Sunday through Thursday (Friday/Saturday off)
