Job Description
Gotham Companies is looking to hire a Dental Hygienist for a Hospital in Queens. Pay Rate: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8 Hour Day / No Weekends
3 Month Commitment: Full Time (Possible Extension)
Job Responsibilities:
Screening patients during checkups
Reviewing a patients dental history
Recommending care to improve a patients oral health
Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
Performing preventive dental care
Applying fluoride treatments
Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Requirements:
Minimum Associate's Degree / Preferred Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene
State License
Minimum 3 years experience
COVID Vaccine
Verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with patients
Excellent critical-thinking skills
Knowledge on latest dental tools and methods
