Gotham Companies is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a Nursing Home located in New Hyde Park, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and supervising and directing other nursing staff.
**New Grads Accepted**
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and monitor their health status, including administering medication, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records and document any changes in patient condition or treatment plans.
Supervise and direct other nursing staff, including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by other nursing staff and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions as needed.
Educate patients and their families on health management, including diet, exercise, and medication adherence.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements:
New York State RN License
CPR/BLS through the American Heart Association
Vaccinated for COVID-19
Shifts: Full time or Part time
7am-3:15pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $58.00 per hour
