Pay range: (USD)21.38 hrly -(USD)25.49 hrly
Schedule Notes:Histology Lab
Some of the functions:
Perform specimen collection
Assist in slide preparation of frozen sections by use of cryostat staining & cover slipping.
Cutting embedded blocks & create stain glass slides.
Process biopsy specimens
Create cassettes and describe specimens on tissue templates.
Skills: 1 year Histological Technician experience.
Required
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Additional
Education: Valid certification as a Histologic Technician issued by NYSED, Primary Source
Verification required. BLS preferred.
