Pay rate ranges from $40.80 to $52.21 based on experience. Schedule:
30 hours per week. There is potential for additional hours.

Licensure:
NY State RN License, required
Experience Required and Preferred:
Registered RN with a minimum of 1 year OR experience, required BLS, and ACLS (AHA), required.
Knowledge of specialty services preferred: Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management, preferred

Job Summary:
The role of the Nurse in an operating room provides leadership, guidance, supervision, and support to the Surgical Services team, as well as direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on applying scientific nursing principles as needed.
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients in compliance with, but not limited to, recognized Standards of Practice and State Practice Act Standards, as well as organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room.

I m a Med Surg nurse who was seeking per diem shifts. I called and spoke to a recruiter; I was then scheduled for a phone interview.
