Radius Rule:contractors must live at least 90 miles from the facility to qualify
Hours:40 hours/week Monday - Friday
Contract term: 13-week contract assignment to permanent
EMR: they are using paper charting. They are moving to electronic charting in 12-18 months

Day shift, 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, no weekends, no call
40 hours/week

1st Interview: OR Manager and OR Coordinator
2nd Interview: Director of Nursing

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful outcomes of our patients. This is a full-time position within our busy surgical department.


Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and readily available
Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery
Hand instruments, sutures, and other supplies to the surgeon during procedures
Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery by following proper aseptic techniques
Assist with wound closure and dressing application
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized operating room


Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or;
Successful completion of the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification exam or;
Completion of a facility based on the job training with a minimum of 10 years experience.
BLS (AHA) required
Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
