Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Radiological Technologist for immediate placement in our Vascular Access Center located in Little Rock, AR. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in general diagnostic and special procedures, cardiac catheterization; experience in IR and Cath Lab is a plus.

The Radiological Technologist will assist the clinical team with vascular access procedures, maintain a sterile field, and provide support during pre- and post-procedures. This is a challenging, fast-paced job with a Monday to Friday schedule, NO nights or weekend shifts. Access Center hours Monday-Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities and Duties:


Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment.
Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies.
Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer.
Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and aid in transporting patients within the center.
Participate in community education activities regarding access center.

Position Requirements:


American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
State license and/or fluoroscopic permit to practice radiologic technology if required by state law.
Associates degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by ARRT.
1 year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures, or cardiac catheterization.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardia Life Support (ACLS)
Basic computer skills
